OJSC “Kyrgyztelecom” has completed work on connecting the village of Kum-Aryk in the Panfilov district to high-speed internet. As part of the project, 9 kilometers of fiber optic cable were laid, providing residents and government organizations with access to modern digital services.
The connection was established as part of the Digital CASA-KR project, which aims to develop digital infrastructure in the regions of Kyrgyzstan. Now, local residents, schools, medical institutions, and government agencies in Kum-Aryk have access to stable and affordable internet. The implementation of the project is part of the company’s strategic goal to reduce the digital divide between urban and rural areas.
