JSC “Kyrgyztelecom” continues systematic work on the development of digital infrastructure in the country’s regions. As part of the modernization of the telecommunication network in the Jalal-Abad region, the company has provided new opportunities for residents to connect to high-speed internet and cable television.
During the reporting period, approximately 800 km of fiber-optic communication lines were laid in the region. This has significantly expanded coverage and improved the quality of telecommunication services provided, including internet access and modern television.
Special attention is paid to ensuring socially significant facilities. 344 state social infrastructure facilities—schools, kindergartens, feldsher-midwife stations (FAPs), and other institutions—have been connected to high-speed internet. Connecting such facilities contributes to improving learning conditions, increasing the accessibility of public services, and developing digital services locally.
Thanks to the work carried out, today every resident of the Jalal-Abad region, including those in the most remote villages, has the technical capability to connect to high-speed internet. The expansion of infrastructure also covers new residential areas: homes built by the State Mortgage Company are provided with internet services by JSC “Kyrgyztelecom”.
Residents of the region positively evaluate the results of the implemented projects. According to them, the internet works stably, has high speed, and cable television provides access to more than 200 channels. The affordable cost of services is separately noted: tariffs remain competitive and, according to subscribers, are noticeably lower than those of other operators.
JSC “Kyrgyztelecom” will continue its work on network development and service quality improvement so that modern digital opportunities are accessible to every resident of the country—regardless of their place of residence.
