From April 21 to 24, 2026, the Central Asia 2026 GCCM International Forum was held, focusing on the development of digital transformation and the strengthening of international telecommunications links. The forum brought together more than 300 experts from 75 countries, as well as representatives of leading telecommunications companies and international organizations.
On behalf of OJSC “Kyrgyztelecom”, Commercial Director Ulugbek Akhmetov and Technical Director Myrzabek Shadybekov participated in the event.
During the forum, OJSC “Kyrgyztelecom” and the Azerbaijani company Delta Telecom LTD signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing cooperation and modernizing telecommunications infrastructure.
The document opens up new opportunities for joint projects in the communications sector, including:
- the development and modernization of telecommunications infrastructure
- the implementation of modern communications technologies
- the expansion of the range of services
- the exchange of experience and best practices
Cooperation between the parties will contribute to improving the quality of communications, expanding digital capabilities, and developing the telecommunications sector. The parties expressed confidence that the implementation of the memorandum will serve as the foundation for a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership.
