Kyrgyztelecom OJSC announces the results of its financial and economic activity for the first half of 2024. Positive dynamics of growth and improvement of indicators can be noted.

       According to the results of the first half of 2024, the revenues of OJSC "Kyrgyztelecom"  amounted to 768,295 thousand soms, which is 12% more compared to the same period of the last year and exceeds the planned indicators by 108%. The main contribution to the revenue growth was made by Internet and IPTV services, which increased by 8% and 53%, respectively. 

        The Company continues to hold leading positions in the telecommunication services market in Kyrgyzstan, actively investing in the development of infrastructure and improving the quality of services provided. In the first half of 2024, work on the expansion of intra-area communication channels was completed, which improved the quality and availability of the Internet for residents of all regions of the country. The growth of revenues from interconnection services amounted to 52,640 thousand soms, which is 422% more compared to the same period of 2023. 

    Despite a 1% decrease in revenues from fixed telephony, the overall operating results show a significant improvement. Savings in operating expenses amounted to 4%, equivalent to 32,316 thousand KGS. The main savings were achieved in the items of overheads, payroll and inventory.

     In the first half of 2024, the net profit of OJSC "Kyrgyztelecom" amounted to 82,367 thousand soms, which significantly exceeds the planned indicators. Profit from non-operating activities amounted to 113,295 thousand soms, including dividends and foreign exchange income.
