On March 1, during the working visit of a representative delegation, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Zhaparov visited Kyrgyztelecom.

   The event was attended by representatives of the Administration of the Head of State, the Ministry of Digital Development headed by Talantbek Imanov, as well as heads of joint stock companies: Chairman of the Board of OAO "Kyrgyz Pochtasy" Marat Cherikchiev and Chairman of the Board of OAO "RSK Bank" Ulanbek Nogaev.

   During the meeting, the head of the Cabinet familiarized himself with the results of Kyrgyztelecom's activities for 2022 and the work plan for 2023-2024. 

   Following the report of Director General of OJSC "Kyrgyztelecom" Nurlan Madaminov, Mr. Akylbek Zhaparov noted that the company as a national telecommunications operator has a great responsibility to ensure accessibility and improve the quality of the Internet for citizens. OJSC "Kyrgyztelecom" should make every effort to implement the project "Digital CASA - Kyrgyz Republic" to develop fiber-optic communication lines throughout the country in the next two years.

   Also, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized that work should be strengthened to connect all public institutions to high-speed Internet in order to provide digital public services.
